Augmented Reality
AR superimposes digital information or graphics on the actual world. Smartphones, tablets, and AR glasses can be used. AR lets users see virtual items and information in the real environment.
Virtual Reality
VR lets consumers explore a simulated environment. Wearing a headset blocks out the real environment and replaces it with a computer-generated one. VR is used for gaming, simulation, training, education, and entertainment. VR users can navigate around a highly immersive and realistic virtual environment.
Mixed Reality
MR combines the physical and digital worlds. Real and virtual items interact in real time in mixed reality. AR glasses or headsets superimpose digital information and visuals over the user's perspective of the actual world. MR can be developed utilising projection systems that combine digital content into the actual environment or VR headsets that immerse people in a digital environment.
